Re: Mac Binary Release

What file are you talking about? If it's the .plist, it only contains a Vsync option, nothing more. There should be more in that file. I modified one with lower settings for you to try. Replace you plist file in ~/Library/Preferences/ with this one. http://homepage.mac.com/ericliskay/com.clan-sy.sp...

Re: Mac Binary Release

On my MacBook, when I launch Spring, the screen goes black for a few seconds, then my desktop come back. A few seconds later, Spring's icon disappear from the Dock and the Crashed Unexpectedly dialog appears. I don't have any non-GMA950 computer to test, but that's probably the problem. . Have you ...

The fix worked fine, I put the file in a folder called shaders in the Resources folder in Spring. Water looks awesome now. Works on the Mac and Win version.

Re: Mac Binary Release

In windows, the settings are stored in the registry, in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SJ\Spring iirc. I highly doubt dynamic water will work on a macbook pro though - it only works on GF6,7s and 8s, only runs acceptably fast on the higher-end cards of those series. I have a Geforce 8600GT with 512MB V...

Re: Mac Binary Release

What is the preferences option to turn on Dynamic Water? Also, where can I find where the Windows version stores the settings file? I have it on my MacBook Pro and can't find the settings file anywhere.

All Intel Macs are NOT 64-bit capable. Core Duo Processors are only 32-bit.

There was a developer preview released for Tiger a long time ago. The current dev preview 8 for Leopard only works on 64-bit Intel Macs. It was released December 18th.

Re: Mac Binary Release

My system is a Single CPU 1.8GHz PowerMac G5 with an ATI Radeon X800XT. Mac OS 10.5.1. In Windowed mode with the latest build, the loading pictures and build icons work now! However, it runs too slow to play in Windowed mode. In fullscreen it works fine, but there are no build or unit icons.

Re: Mac Binary Release

In the latest build, there are still no build icons for me, but something changed, they used to be all white, now the kbot/vehicle/airplane/ship plants are grey rectangles. Not sure what this means but I wanted to say.

Re: Mac Binary Release

I still don't get build icons or images in the loading screen.

Also, there appears to be duplicates of two Frameworks in the Frameworks folder. ogg.framework and vorbis.framework. Because of this, the Finder wouldn't let me copy the app because the file names were the same.

Re: Mac Binary Release

Internet and LAN games seem to work fine between a PowerBook G4 and a PowerMac G5. Even playing with someone over the internet doesn't seem to lag too much. I'll test between a PowerBook G4 and a MacBook Pro as soon as I get mine.

[PowerPC iMac G5] So no matter what AI I attempt to use, the AI controlled commander simply stands there and does nothing. Unless I send a unit right up next to him, in which case he destroys my unit. I get a bunch of "wrong version" AI errors- I'm guessing they're related? Otherwise, it ...
