I think the finest example of the current build pics is the l1 laser tank. NO ONE has any problem telling what that is. Perhaps adding a small firing effect to the other pics is the best way to go. As far as EE goes, especially when playing as URC, KAI likes to build lots of plasma towers as it approaches your base, usually not even building mexes along the way. However, I usually do angle down the camera at least somewhat, but when building at least, I like the top-down view as it's easier to see spatial relationships between structures. I would love a camera that behaves like the OTA one ...

Quite frankly, when using the overhead or FPS view in free look mode, the view should not move UP when I move the mouse DOWN (and vice versa). This bothers me - Spring isn't a flight simulator.
