Personally, since I'm an OTA convert, I'm feeling a bit of the physics are wrong with airbalance. Of course, it will be quite different, seeing as how this isn't an OTA-derivative, but rather an UberHack derivative. AA is different, at least partially because it's balanced to Comms-build-MTs and MTs...

As for the speed, larger objects tend to move slower relative to their size because of scaling issues. Take, for example, the cockroach - it can run at the equivalent of 200mph if it were human size, but obviously no animal that large can actually move that fast. Hell no. You just got the logic tot...

Something I find a little odd is the Core Storm vs Arm Rocko comparison. Both have the same range, same weapon/DPS. The Core Storm costs 85/879 vs. 97/944 but has 670 hp vs 650 hp. Both aim at essentially the same speed. The Arm Rocko is marginally faster. (ArmRocko: 1.74, CoreStorm: 1.65) If the lo...

Huh. So this map actually isn't porcy at all. At least, it's not if you use Storms. There's just no feasible way of defending against massed rocket kbots that are immune to flash/gatorspam because they just stand in the water. Even if light kbots/tanks are used to attempt to assault the rocket kbots...

Wait....so now I can't move my (Behemoths?) barely mobile gun platforms? Boo... Flashes are good...up to a point. Why outrun flashes when you can just kill them all before they reach you? I do agree, though, that the zipper needs buffing. It just doesn't do enough damage, as is. Perhaps it'd be alri...

The Banisher effect is very nice. The Janus also. However, unless I'm just mentally scaling it wrong, it seems to imply that the Banisher has a more powerful, but lower AoE effect? If this is not true, perhaps the amount of white-out for the Janus should be lowered? The smoke, I would say, can go. O...

()FLAGSHIPS ARE KINGS OF THE SEA Actually...this strat works. Adv shipyard->Adv consub->Millennium->Cruise missile ship->AA ship->Flagship has won me every game I've tried it on (Tropical). BUILD AN ARMY OF 30 FARKS Well, I'm not sure of the exact calculations, but I'm under the impression that the ...

Better: Rush to airfield, build transport, move com to their factory. Put com down, destroy (or capture) factory, build a couple llts. Then chase down their com for mutual destruction. With luck, they won't have had time to build a second factory, or you'll get it when you get their com. In the mean...

Stealth fighters shouldn't be tested guarding the object though. In my experience, they work better patrolling along your front border, so they can chase the bombers from behind as they pass, and therefore get more shots into the rear of the bombers. Hm...perhaps I'll test that. Ten T2 bombers, Fusi...

I'd love to see a video, Fang. Try FRAPS, if your computer's up to the task. I, too, am guilty of the pure-overhead thing, although I angle it down a bit now. I also HATE rotation. I just can't stand it. I need vertical lines (say, of buildings) to stay vertical. I actually played homeworld all from...
