Re: If you use L3DT...

So, can i just keep requesting 90 day trial liscenses under different names? If you seriously need to use it for more than 90 days, then it's pretty poor that you wouldn't buy it. It's also stupid to actually post about it on the forum the creator is reading. Great job. LOL I was going to point tha...

I was quoted $1,500.00 to recover a 2gb drive a few years ago, It might be worth tyring a few different file recovery program demo`s and buy the one with the most promise. People will always say oh man you should have had it all backed up but the truth is there is not a single person here who would ...

Thats strange, I remember the first version of mapconv would place trees wherever the texture was green, but the version your using only places trees via information contained in the feature.bmp The following info is copied from IceXuick map design help in the wiki. http://spring.clan-sy.com/wiki/Ic...

No TAMEC consisted of two admins and about fifteen reviewing staff, of which about five would be actively reviewing maps at any one time.

Of course even if the .sm3 format implementation was completed we would still be up the creek without a paddle cos there is no editor, which is essential for placing and aligning the decals.

As a side note, supcoms texture splattering isnt nearly as advanced as ours, it seems to be just basic texture tiling system implemented using splattering. That's exactly what it is, the basic map textures in all the supcom maps would look like shit in springs engine, in supcom maps you do the base...

Im with AF on this one, if you use a renderer that can export masks/blendmaps its dead easy and we would have maps that are only on average two to five mb in size regardless of the maps physical size. The current map format can`t touch .sm3 for texture detail, not to mention all the other bells and ...

It would be a shame to see sm3 dropped completely, its a far superior format to the existing one, and holds the only real hope of bringing spring map quality up to par with other games.
