Yes i was in that game i was his teammate not that i was doing much mostly just watching :). you guys won with a massive bomber swarm, one of the only things we lost to the bethas and 100s of battle ships was aa guns which we generally never bothered replacing. WE only had annihilators over half the...

Nukes can hit anywhere in the map tho, vs expanding players only portions of their base wind up protected by nukes, anti nukes also offer no value other than to protect against nukes, if a player gets a nuke before players have an anti nuke its game over this is quite a boring game to play also forc...

shutup...do you even know what i'm talking about? i'm saying that units shouldn't be able to be utterly slaughtered by their counter although their counter should be able to beat them cost wise (1k M brawlers die to 1k M flakkers etc) And in the original ANYTHING could hit ANYTHING if you got damn ...

1v1 fighters cant seem to shoot them down, i had 3 of my brawlers meet 4 fighters the fighters were all shot down by the brawlers I SERIOUSLY doubt it maybe u were fighting peepers? or they were on hold fire? if this really happened post a replay it was a while ago they were the lvl2 core fighter, ...

Brawlers dont die quickly to flak towers, 4-5 brawlers make short work of a few flak towers, plus they are slow to build and lvl2 requiring lvl 2 constructors and can just be flown around or just avoided. Also its not late game 400 brawler swarms i find are the problem its early game expansion flak ...

with brawlers you offensive units are ineffective vs them, they simply fly right past them, also defensive lines are to, they just fly past them into the heart of ur base which unless ur some porker wont have suffient defenses to down them quickly, Brawlers are highly mobile strong and not that diff...

See, the thing about playing with a porcer as a partner, is that you should be using the same base. You build the units to attack the opposition, while he concentrates entirely on building those massively hard to smash bases. This way, if you're attack fails, you can fall back into the shared base,...

In the old days of Quake 2, there were the [creepy sounds] campers [/creepy sounds] . People who would spend more time waiting for armour and weapons to spawn up again than fighting. Then Quake 3 came out. Completely turned out to multiplayer. And Quake 3 is all about bloating yourself up with heal...

That's what I was saying OTA encourages my static gameplay style, XTA is making me think a lot more and it's harder... so far my new strategy is going to involve level 1 veicles and level 2 kbots from the start, and rushing metal spots fast and then defending them with little pockets of said level ...

my goal in playing OTA is to get past the expantionist part of the game to the Moho Metal Maker> Fusion Plant> Moho Metal Maker> Fusion Plant> Moho Metal Maker> Fusion Plant / 100 adv constructor planes stage as quickly as possible so I can acctually start building the things I want in mass quantit...

its good early game but what i dont like is late game it just becomes resources only basically, since once u get going u can just pump out fusion after fusion and moho mine after moho mine, it just comes down to how many units u can make, most ppl just seem to build 100 construtor planes and pump ou...
