i had 4 of my brawlers encounter 3 lvl2 fighters once, the brawlers won without loss. the fighters just cant make a good pass, and the brawlers have no issue hitting them.

maps like shore to shore hovers very good only units that end the game quickly, ships cant push inland where hovers can. Just maps with steep shorelines are annoying.

well then a submarine should lose to a battleship 1v1 cos they cost more. While a mere freedom fighter should not shootdown brawlers in droves its a fighter a brawler shouldnt be able to beat it 1v1 simply because it cant hit it, like it was in the orginal.

Brawlers dont die quickly to flak towers, 4-5 brawlers make short work of a few flak towers, plus they are slow to build and lvl2 requiring lvl 2 constructors and can just be flown around or just avoided. Also its not late game 400 brawler swarms i find are the problem its early game expansion flak ...

with brawlers you offensive units are ineffective vs them, they simply fly right past them, also defensive lines are to, they just fly past them into the heart of ur base which unless ur some porker wont have suffient defenses to down them quickly, Brawlers are highly mobile strong and not that diff...

the only thing a porcer forces you to think about in the attack is when, since they focus so much on establishing production all u need to do is amass enough and rush in. Defences unless at chokepoints can be breached quite easily by focusing on a single spot, all you have to do is drive past them.

That's what I was saying OTA encourages my static gameplay style, XTA is making me think a lot more and it's harder... so far my new strategy is going to involve level 1 veicles and level 2 kbots from the start, and rushing metal spots fast and then defending them with little pockets of said level ...

I dont like it because i feel it makes other units like kbots feel pretty worthless. I almost never build kbots and just bulldogs and i like kbots i just find them not so good usually all dead before then can get in range.
