ok as you lack brains, ill tell you. This thread was about star noobs, and trying to find smart way to slow their creation rate. what is worst than a quitter? You shouldn't complain. The SM noobs used to be StarCraft players. They are flowing rapidly from battle.net to the Spring server. :P TA reve...

Anyway, wait and see.

I won't change my hardware before the release of Supreme Commander, which undoubtly will need maximum processing power. That's another 9 months, so there is plenty of time for hardware and price evolution in between.

That is where you are wrong. Conroe is made using specialised bacteria, and this process is pateneted by Intel, so AMD cannot make a direct competeter without putting in the year of reasearch and millions of dollars. Which by then, Intel shall be supreme. Also, the cheapest conroe is about 250$ Not...

I have an AMD x2 already >.< For somereason i think my x2 is to blame for my horrible FPS in spring. Some times i 10-13 FPS, And in even more extreme cases, i get 2. All setttings on max, 1280x1024. Gay. I've got a 4.4ghz X-2 - your low FPS isn't due to your processor, in some cases i get over 200f...

It's a nice piece. Rather far from professional I'm afraid though. First thing that got me was the fact that not only are your drum samples lacking oomph, your arps sound like they came out of a casio. THe tune is nice and pleasing. THe vox sounds like a talkbox, and that was overdone when cher did...

To post 1 > I think it's time to stop posting suggestions that are mere ripoffs of ideas for SupCom. First, it is lame, second, it won't work in Spring, third, it can only attact problems to the Spring community, fourth, I don't want to see GPG have the same fate as Cavedog. If you want to make Spri...

Hi, I don't know if my findings have been incorporated in the last release, as I haven't checked lately (in fact, I don't even have a properly working development environment by now, so I can't test it :/). But I'm pretty sure my analyses are correct and worth looking at, as the reported bugs indeed...

Probably puts too much load on proc/videocard unless Spring engine is rewritten for multithreading (which is not going to happen soon). A double viwport would divide FPS nearly by two. CEGUI has a higher priority for me.

Fortunately, it's not the opnion of thousands of players around the globe. Infancy bugs and issues have long been taken care of and the game is pretty stable. But of course, the graphial aspect of the interface still remains basic and old-fashioned.

Hearts of Iron Doomsday

Looking for a historical strategy game, I read about the Hearts of Iron series of wargames, which have been consistently receiving raves by the press, - and most importantly -, by gamers, as being the deepest and most accurate PC wargames around. See for 'example Gamespot Gamespy 1up Gamersmark Game...

In the same register, if some of you still use solid shoe polish for footwear (in round metal boxes), it tends to get completely dry after a while, and almost unusable. Just light it up, it will instantly catch fire; let it melt for a few seconds and then you can use it again. Hot shoe shine is part...
