GameOver() returns a table listing winning allyTeams, so if you want teams (teams or players?) you'll need to iterate over that table and use Spring.GetTeamList(allyTeamID) and iterate over the result too.

On top of this, most gamedevs probably don't realize that spring gives all units 50% extra air los, so if your unit's los range is 500, in the air it's los range is actually 750. Any such thing will require back and forth discussions, wiki is extremely poor format for that. Thread need only be locked to show that the request is complete.

Is it OK if I go and just manually remove all the instances of the extra <pre> tags (boxes) that are still found in some places? Let me know if you (abma, FLOZi, some other wiki guru?) think it should be done differently, else I'll go ahead. Was on my todo list, I don't see any reason not to do it ...

The entire section is a bit garbled, e.g.
weaponVelocity = √(range * g)
R = (v^2 Sin 2X) / g

=>

v = SQRT (Rg / Sin 2X)

Let X = 45deg => Sin 2X = Sin 90 = 1

.'. v = SQRT(Rg)

No we shouldn't. Bespoke gadgets for game specific applications result in cleaner code imo.
