I think it's dumb to remake models, there must be a program that can convert these and then make some changes(less polygons!) No! The only way to get manageable models and a polycount that doesn't make you cry is to model properly. Block modeling a lego unit really doesn't take that long. This has ...

The general theme of the backstory is that Humanity is fighting its intelligent AI creations in the far future. There will be 19 initial units for the first public alpha- 8 ground, 4 air. I already have 7 done, and should reach 9 tonight, including the Commander. I would like to present the first a...

Bare in mind that I'm still trying stuff out but I would say that stalling isn't the problem. It seems more related to building speed rather than running out metal/energy. Even with more starting resources the first 15 minutes of the game there is no or very little conflict and it just feels a bit s...
Tried NOTA tonight and I have to congratulate you on a fine and fun mod. Me and my friends mostly play EE but decided to try something new. It was really worth it. What strikes me first is the epic feeling. The great radar icons and the size of the units gives me the feeling of commanding a big army...

maybe for level indication one could rotate the background grid 45°? That's an interesting idea that actually may work. But a 45° rotation would only work for two lvls. As 90° equals 0°. But using the grid in some way makes sense. On the random race thing. Thats a great idea and should ...

trust me pxtl this is not my attitude.. the Ground Assault helis somewhat OP.. they need a damage/range nerf and a slight health nerf as well even with heavy AA I suspect they could get a salvo off and kill something important like a com.. I also did not like the whole rushing to those.. I'm glad t...

I agree. Making the minimap radar icons half the size would really make the minimap feel less clogged. I would also like to point out another thing that was evident in the Giant Hills game. There really isn't anything that can take care of the lvl2 GD ground attack helis. Imho they need to be nerfed...
