I've been playing a ton of offline games recently... Mostly Stalker Call of Pripyat with the Call of Chernobyl mod, Tyrian 2000, Total Annihilation, Hearts of Iron IV and Battlefield 2 (this one's immortal!) I'm usually more of an online guy, but right now my job demands me to be online all the time...

Nice job! Did you do this map with a specific map in mind, or is it done to be used by pretty much every game built on the SpringRTS engine? Because I think it would be great for close combat, but would limit long range fighting unless supported by air assets ; so I'd rather use this map to play a g...

+1 on that, it is what feels the most natural to me as well. And I'm pretty sure we're not the only ones! Or is there a function to create/select this function whenever we're working on our games?

It might sound like olympic nitpicking (or, as we call it in French, "buggering the flies") but it WILL be useful to know the exact name, with capitalisation etc, since it is crucial in finding the engine through search engines, tags, and for judicial procedures if it ever comes to that!
