Re: TAS Client Skin
I like darkness, and for a skinned application that looks pretty nice... but I'll always prefer TASClient to look like the rest of Windows so Windows native it is... but if I select a battle in the battle list it is now white text on white background and that is sort of annoying. Why can you uncheck...

Re: Release: Quickmatching System
I think it is enough to have the lobby inform the player that a game is getting filled up so the player can consider to join the game. . Eh for a game to get filled up players must join the game, they can't wait with joining the game until it gets filled up... That just makes no sense. I think this...

Re: Steam: Complete Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series for $20
As a small warning, Jedi Knight likes to frequently corrupt saved games, so don't rely on quicksaves.

Re: Balanced Annihilation V7.01
Can you change how coms dgunning eachother work atm? The dgunner usually gets the 2500 metal from his own wreck and the other player often only 1250...I don't think there should be an incentive towards dgunning other coms.

Re: Monitor or a TV ?
TVs generate frames by themselves, they don't actually accept sources at those refresh rates, so they're not true high refresh rate monitors.

Re: SpringLobby hard to use??
There is an options tab, yet game options are found in the Tools menu and language options are found in the Help menu. Confusing. The menu seems pretty pointless in itself and its contents really should've been placed in tabs.

Kicking him from the server for insults seems wrong though, /ignore works just as well and is what most of us do.

Re: [Solved (in 0.80) ] Hacking : taking control of a player
Host being able to see IPs of joins doesn't really matter. If two different IPs connect as the same player, how would you know who is the actual player?
That and autohost owners are mostly afk so someone can still do some serious griefing before they're even noticed.

Re: Hacking : taking control of a player
Known bug, anyone can do it (doesn't even have to be in the battle) as long as the target player loads slower. Host could get IPs (and please tell me this sort of shit qualifies for a permanent ban from the server?) and report them to a lobby moderator. But seeing as hosts has to be unbiased (unless...

There are true 120hz monitors, but there aren't true 120hz TVs, so sort of true I guess.

Re: Monitor or a TV ?
@All TVs are VA guy: Can you give me any kind of reference for that statement? I didn't say all TVs, some are IPS. Link me to some TVs that are TN. TN panels have gotten a lot better since the old days, it can be hard to tell them apart unless you have a proper test image. No it's really easy to te...

Re: Monitor or a TV ?
TVs generally have more inputs, better viewing angles, remote control, speakers built in and have image enhancements to make low definition content look better. Their disadvantages are that they generally have more input lag, less ergonomic options and lower resolutions. This really doesn't matter, ...

Re: Default settings should not be "abysmal quality"
Spring should get the desktop resolution and use that, not set some larger resolution people can't display. Also, why even have default settings? Make the lobby clients ask on first run so users get to choose between framerate and graphics themselves and make the game settings less hidden in the lob...

No... I really don't, and that's information you should provide when you're asking for help. Anyway, searching your posts makes me guess you're using XP SP3 and in XP you find it here:
