I think it would be a mistake making ur comm block d gun shots.
Imaginw what a d gun shielding unit can do? I mean people will start taking their comms to attack with the rest of the units to prevent the enemy comander from d guning them=d gun useless...

a great idea..

Listen up... i have some ideas that maybe u can scavange and use.. 1. i think the idead of making the units much smaller is a verry good idea.. it allows u to make sizes realistic.. meaning buildings will be much bigger than units. 2.what if the units are built in groups straight away and not as sin...

some of the models look real good... but please dont make the same mistakes as other modders did... make only high quality textures.. take ur time.. itll be worth it and the mod will be remembered for a long time.. believe me .. take it from blizzard.. its better to take ur time and make ur project ...

OK.
iv converted it to greyscale in that little prog.
i tried it at 8bpp and 24.
the l3dt is still giving me similar results..
WTF????
maybe i should use terragen.
?
i donwloaded it but im not sure how to import an image and at what format must it be for terragen to accept it..

well i saved it as a 24 in mspaint and now when i load it as a hightmap into l3dt it shows me just figures in different colors not black and white and it is far from how my higtmap bmp looks like.

A problem with a hightmap

Iv made a hightmap in greyscale in the gimp saved it as a bmp size 512 and it says in l3dt : incorrect bit depth for BMP JPEG HF

why??? :x

used guassian blur
