Why not accept them as a part of this community and instead of trying to destroy what little this game has left just work around or with it.

Protection against cheaters

Recently I was made aware that certain people were "spec cheating" on TA, I wont name names of people that do it now but what's stopping other people from doing the same thing. Is there anything we can do to stop this epidemic?

Re: Core Executioner Minor Change Request

Hrm interesting post, your reputation proceeds you mastermind. Can you upload some of your replays so we can start balancing ba to the way you guys play. From what it sounds like ba has only been balanced to the play style of a small group of players, with the replays of you and your friend playing ...

Re: Suggestion about default widgets list

This game can get pretty hard at times, that's usually the result of bad game mechanics. Adding these widgets would probably help fix that.

Re: BA DSD why it works, how it is good and you getting over it.

Hrm good point. I propose a few things to make ba more rewarding for people who appreciate real strategy (the tas community.) Make all units twice as small. Most small RTS games only have life sized units, by making our units smaller we create the illusion that individual units are not deciding the ...

Re: BA DSD why it works, how it is good and you getting over it.

Just because a game is slower and bigger doesn't mean it has more strategy. A lot of losers here think starcraft is about tactics not strategy, wrong. A strategy is a solution you have to a problem, tactics relate to the conduct of that solution.

Both games have strategy.

Re: Competetive Balanced Annihilation

Get rid of widgets and all that other crap. I remember back in the day people were saying being a fast player was pointless and RTS should be all about strategy not how fast you were. All the high level games speed wasn't really that big a deal, everyone was fast enough for it not to matter that muc...

Re: 7.4X Balance Change Reasoning

No, jeffy regen does matter a bit. Edit: And just playing without theorising doesn't do very much to see how the game is affected. If you just play like you always played, probably you won't notice much difference unless your units unexpectedly fail due to changes. Something like new autoregen, you...

Re: On BA air

Make it so air cannot see, i think this is enough to place air in a soley support role which it seems is what most people want. Air will then only be able to attack areas that have already been scouted and will need ground units to act as forward observers to attack moving targets. Or whatever.
