Re: Bible 2.0: Closet Deist
Today I finally caved in to that weird draw to the offtopic forum I've been feeling for weeks... and look what I find! Yep, thats definitely a fine piece of Zoombie writing there. I'm actually kinda enjoying the mental acrobatics needed to keep up with the flip flopping chapters. Yes. Someone is rea...

After what he did to Bob's amazing Dire Wolf model I can not and will never support his re-inclusion in anything apart from an asylum.

Re: Pathing...
Well, no pathing at all isn't what is wanted, but rather only pathing to get around impassable terrain. - Obviousinator You don't want to say take the slowest path though, thats for sure. The pathfinder probably doesn't save slower paths due to its optimizations for one. And also, there is no slowes...

Re: Battletech
Currently development is pretty much at a standstill on most fronts. While that is a good looking Catapult, a mech of that tonnage should have something like 1/50th to 1/30th that number of pollies. Spring could handle one or two of those at that polycount, but this is an RTS. Need a few more than t...

Re: Signs of the Apocalypse Checklist
I hardly think Starcraft 2 is worthy of being on that last... its not like it was supposed to be imminent that whole time since the original. Nor was there anything of significance standing in its way. Homeworld 3, however... that is I think. It would take the power of a world ruler to free up that ...

Re: Fantastic contraption
I always wanted a machine that can go up the stairs without choking up on those balls... they always get underfoot eventually and cause it the machine to fall back down at least a couple steps... Well, glad I got that over with. http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=3528115 Special thanks to for...

Re: Bugfix release, 0.77b5
Seems if you at first let the lobby autoupdate, but then cancel the download before it finishes and exit it will get stuck in an infinite loop (no gui, 100% usage of 1 core).
Edit: It seems I managed to get that doing something else too (after updating)... not sure what.

Re: Fantastic contraption
Everyone in some way goes over, under, or through the balls in awash. Yep, I did too (my first attempt tunneled). But what better way to prove you have the baddest machine than a show of pure strength! So I built a machine that heaves ALL (almost, I kinda didn't save my one iteration that actually d...

Re: Fantastic contraption
Strange... one would think a game like this would be rather deterministic.
http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=2754761 Guess I like moving bridges. At least this one has a bit more leway between success and failure.

Trying to be creative... wanted to try to make a cannon/ballista of sorts for junkyard, all I get was a bridge launcher :-/
