Is there any extra key stroke or a extra return
in the fs.txt. That might cause the crash ..

There should be a few metal maps out their ... I made a few ..We need more metal maps without stupid speedboost and 500 wind....
I made at least 4 or 5 ... Some are good and a few not so good ...

You should be using 7-zip to compress the maps directory. Also, you are missing a *.smd file. You will need create one to get the map to work. Also, you should take the time an read the wiki and the stickies for other info on making maps. UPDATE: Here sample of what a .smd file might look like .. [M...

One the drivers aren't written for Windows 7 properly ...

I upgraded to the latest x64 vista drivers ... Still a no

That could be the issue. I downloaded the Windows 7 beta
from ATIs web site. So, the beta has some support of
opengl, but still not a complete set..

Has ne1 try the latest build of Spring with Windows 7 ?
I have a test system running it and the screen flickers
when running Spring. I'm running 2 ATI 4830 in crossfire
mode with ATI Windows 7 beta drivers.
I can run other games, but Spring is a no-go ..

That would be a main texture of 10240 x 5120 ..
