I think though that Crysis is putting more effort than most games into making graphics and gameplay go together. I know that most of the trees are destructible (they fall if exploded) and that buildings can be shattered by explosions. Also, plants etc. Deform to people/bullets. Don't see how plants ...

The 8800 is a bleeding edge chip that must use a new driver design with a new Operating system while maintaining backwards compatibility. Could you make a new driver for a new card running on a new operating system that doesn't crash and supports Direct X 10 + 9 over the course of a year or two? I'm...

On my dads oldish laptop the ATI card did retarded things. Can't remember precisely which card; I think it might've been a X600 Mobile. Trippy things like losing the texture for tire tracks and replacing them with blue slime. Or horrible things like terribly flawed API calls that fix one vertex from...

Or why Metallica albums are 3x as expensive as other artists are. Seriously, Piracy will continue so long as its easier to get pirated stuff than it is to get legit stuff. Ever seen a legit place to download Photoshop? What about Windows? How about a pirated version of either? It seems to me that if...
