Re: Maximum Annihilation V1.0

Played it, loved it - nice one, I hope to see some more games around once people notice the mod :) Love what you've done with the buildtimes, I hadn't realised how bad they are on some mods till I played this. Not that faster is always better of course, but it really was a breath of fresh air to be ...

Re: Factory grouping inheritance - make it an option

I just set factories to a group, and have a couple of selection keys defined: one ('t', I believe) takes the current selection and removes all buildings from it, and the second ('y') does the opposite, removing all but the buildings. Most of the time I want my factory rally point to follow my units ...

Re: Complete Annihilation News

There's some great new features in this version as always (when do you guys get the time to do all this stuff?!) and my only gripe is just I don't personally like the new stomped-flat techtree. Of course I realise that's largely just personal preference - but perhaps a mutator (mod option) for tradi...

Re: Fibre v5

Just wanted to say that I had a lot of trouble figuring out the use of beacons (thanks stealth for helping me out in the lobby) because they don't really seem to show up much, at least for me...all you can see is the healthbar, and there doesn't appear to be any way to select them other than draggin...

Re: Complete Annihilation News

I have to say I really like some of the new air units - avengers look and feel kinda like Stargate deathgliders (especially when dogfighting!) which is very cool! The blastwing and fink are also good, but the rapier does feel a little out of place to be honest...it would be great if it followed the ...

I think we're a bit beyond conservation of mass at this point :P

but still, the standard Sci-fi explanation of 'the shrink ray puts all the mass in another dimension temporarily' should do the trick ;)

surely the best way would be for units to take paralyzed status into account when measuring target 'value' - ie paralyzed units automatically have 1/5 their normal value or something that way if you hadn't specifically ordered an attack on one unit, they'd seek to paralyze as much as possible rather...

Thought of another one: BodyShield which would have no radius and anything that hits the unit would first check if the shield can block it and if it can do no damage to the unit (might even apply to area damage that touches the unit). The VisibleShield effect for it would be a duplicate of the unit...

Absolutely Airtight  - (against Cease&Desist orders ;)) - heh, had to :P aaanyway, moving away from the 'AApunlolz' theme: Dominate or Die? (although DD --> no doubt never-ending 'bewbies!!1!' jokes :S) Leader of Legend (-=LL=-, emphasising the perspective of the commander) and/or "-Le...

In TA I played arm just cos I liked em, and I had a mate who was core-crazy... now in spring (AA) I switched to core because when I started pretty much everyone else played arm cos they were overpowered (I started during the AA 1.42 uberflash days  ) and I seem to gravitate away from the easy/p...

I like it as it is tbh - a long range, low(ish) DPS pinpoint attack seige ship - as has been mentioned, it somewhat makes up for the removal of the bertha ship don't forget the AA missiles too. Actually, maybe you could make its Vlaunch missiles track like kroggy's do and then it could target gunshi...

tbh I like DTs the way they are, having them as features instead of buildings means they have a different counter - namely constructors - and this is where using combat engineers/farks on the frontlines (hardly a huge investment, and useful for many other things too) comes in. I think it works quite...

no, that would be called a 'risky but potentially rewarding tactic' which is well within the scope of AA ;)

anyway, this was only being proposed as a mutator, so yeah go for it :-)
