Re: Engine fork and Ingame Community
no updates to maintenance in over two years, develop looks to be on life support. Seems to be an accurate assesment.

Re: Engine fork and Ingame Community
That's a fair point about maintenance. However, if develop is not being developed any more, then what's the hold up to just recognise recoil as the new spring maintenance(and develop)? Spring would acknowledge the de-facto state of things, put the "develop" branch on hold and use the reco...

Re: Engine fork and Ingame Community
At first look, Riot/element seem very similar to Discord. Is it really related to Matrix network? Is that complicated to host a forum like this one? Or an extended one? Riot/Element is the official client of the Matrix network. Why another forum, is Spring not fractured enough already... Why would ...

Re: Engine fork and Ingame Community
What are the barriers to giving Ivand (and/or whoever works on coil) rights over a branch in the official repo? Then coil would just be Spring branch like develop and maintenance. Thats a question that mostly goes to the coil fork: "spring" (springrts.com) avoids using commercial services ...

Relay hosts
What is the status with relay hosts? Clicking "use relayhosts" in SL and "Host" makes hosting fail without error.

Re: Registering multiple accounts with the same e-mail address
It took me apparently three months, but after reading protonmail docs for an unrelated issue I saw that you can have infinite aliases at protonmail. I misunderstood Forb as I thought that "alias" meant the protonmail.ch / protonmail.com / pm.me "aliases". +alias worked to sign up...

Re: Registering multiple accounts with the same e-mail address
Is there a list of matrix rooms? I'm in a s44 one (!EoIGLmjIYqPSFLNWVn:matrix.org) and messages are definetely not being relayed. But perhaps that was a freenode bridge room? I'm a newbie when it comes to matrix.

Re: Registering multiple accounts with the same e-mail address
This IS Protonmail. But afaik we are given only 2 (3?) aliases, and they were all used for registering bots on this platform. Anyway, this is a pointless thread about a pointless restriction that will never get fixed. Before e-mail verification I had high hopes that it'll be used for good and actual...

Re: Registering multiple accounts with the same e-mail address
I do not have my own domain, nor do I want to make a gmail account.
I suppose that this is indeed pointless. At best I'll be told to get githubbed. Oh, well...

Re: Registering multiple accounts with the same e-mail address
I already used up my alias quota on circumventing this restriction when creating more bots.

Re: Registering multiple accounts with the same e-mail address
Uberserver is never going to allow two accounts to share the same email address. Why not? Once an account no longer exists, the email it was once registered to is available to new users. If you think this is not happening you should report a bug with logs etc. The account in question predates the e...

Registering multiple accounts with the same e-mail address
Please make this possible. I already have all my e-mails taken by bot registrations, and now I'm unable to re-register my chat account after it was dropped/deleted/? around january/february.

Ah yes, my autohost for The Cursed disappeared together with the server, and is not expected to return any time soon. Wasn't used much, however.

Re: Autohosts operating non-downloadable engines
Then simply say that it is popular. Don't say "leave your cave" as it implies that everything else is caveman technology. I recognise that Discord has great potential as a channel for promoting games, but I don't want everything to move there. Development should still be done on an open m...

Re: More "BA" questions, split from The end of the maintenance branch
The BA crew could maintain a branch of engine spun off from 103.0. Lobby already supports multiple engine branches, so this should be 0 effort to accomodate them. Sounds like a win-win, they get to play 103* on the official server, bug fixes get backported from 104+ to not ruin Spring's already ruin...

Re: Autohosts operating non-downloadable engines
Are you saying that all of your 2000+ (or how ever many you have) users in your discord channel collaborate and build spring games? That's a lot of developers! I said what I said: It's written in a simple, international English. Everyone can read it and witness I never said what you imply I said. M...

Re: Autohosts operating non-downloadable engines
Saying like this about people who collaborate and build spring games as a result is at minimum rude and generally not very smart. Are you saying that all of your 2000+ (or how ever many you have) users in your discord channel collaborate and build spring games? That's a lot of developers! My "...

Re: The end of the maintenance branch
Can I? The last time I backed-up springlobby org, the best downloader I could find operated by scraping the issues through the API and had no uploader, not even back to GitHub.
