Re: If unit fall on top of enemy factory it vanish!
It is ZK gadget "unit_prevent_lab_hax.lua" that causes it iirc.

AllowFeatureBuildStep() called when wreck is resurrected
Right now we have AllowFeatureBuildStep ( builderID, builderTeam, featureID, featureDefID, step ) callin. It is called when: - feature is getting reclaimed (in this case step is a negative number) - feature is getting repaired (refilled with metal) before being resurrected (in this case step is a po...

Re: Spring 87.0! 2nd Run!
in the old days of 0.82, we had a different versioning scheme. the difference between 0.81->0.82 and 0.82.1->0.82.2 does not exist anymore (we had 3 different version parts for releases back then, now we have only two). 87.1 would have to be a non-sync breaking release. short: a release that would ...

Re: Per piece collision volumes issues
So, I have this factory, and every thing should be just fine. However, I noticed that the boxes for the per piece collision volumes, which the right size, were well off to one side. Looked in upspring, and I had set the model center to the big tower thing. I moved it back to 0 and the boxes lined u...

Re: GRTS metalmaps for ZK
Some feedback after testing in single player with ZK: The map and all its features look great, good job! Extractor radius fits well the size of spots, area mex doesn't break anywhere. Personally I would prefer metal patches that are not so huge but it is just my opinion. The amount of metal in featu...

Re: Compiling spring (mingw and visual studio 7/8)
Mingw output with VERBOSE=1: mingw_log.txt Error output same as before. @jK: TDM webdl installer was what I was using. It didn't know then that there is only one version of it which always gets the latest Mingw. Anyway the point was hypothetical refering to hoijui post that Mingw GCC must be 4.5, bu...

Re: Compiling spring (mingw and visual studio 7/8)
I tried compiling with Mingw 4.5.2 and still exactly same errors.
An another player who tried to compile on Windows told me in lobby that he got the same errors too.
Any help?

With properly microed felon the pyros won't even come close. It takes less than a second to kill one. But if they somewhat come too close then this is what outlaw is for.

+1 to CarRepairer
Wolas:
If you want nice detail but dont want too much big textures, it is good idea to reuse the same texture for several similar units / features. For example if you make several similar houses.

Re: River mouth, an Oki River remake
What Google_Frog said. We had a ZK game on this map and after a while it felt like speedmetal. We couldn't keep with making E and buildpower to use all the metal, even though we had only on small portion of the map covered with mexes. And mex range needs to be increased to fit the size of the metals...

Re: Compiling spring (mingw and visual studio 7/8)
The wiki (at least the Compiling Spring on Windows page) doesn't mention anywhere that mingw version 4.5 has to be used. I checked two times. So thanks for the tip, I will try installing the tdm with 4.5 and we will see if this was the cause of errors. If it really was then wiki has to be more speci...

Re: Compiling spring (mingw and visual studio 7/8)
The link in the first post is 404, may need updating.
The correct one seems to be:
http://springrts.com/wiki/Building_spring
Edit: Wow! Getting Mingw to work is so much easier these days, thanks to TDM installer.

Re: Integrating alternate model formats
Yay I helped to find a bug! :D Thanks for a quick fix Hoijui. I will get the latest build from buildbot. Edit: I see there is no debug build available for download. Tried the one ending with _spring_dbg but it seems to be debug symbols or something. I got the normal build then, will try to compile t...
