Re: Hearthstone
No, You just read my initial comparison between spring and SC2 and assumed the wrong things.

Re: Hearthstone
Well I completely disagree with you.
I dont care how easy it is to get into a game If i don't like the gameplay.

Re: Hearthstone
Shame the game is not designed to be played as a team. Not really interested in 1v1 matches. It's the reason i don't play sc2.

Re: Path of exile
Well there are CC abilities and taunts and you can have a single person giving 7 auras to the entire party. You can build chars that are pretty bad on their own but great in parties just people dont feel like they want to cause than it will be a pain to go out solo. There are in fact even uniques th...

Re: Path of exile
Next up: What is better, a Playstation or an Xbox? I did not say not losing xp is an option, someone else did. (side note i cant use my old account cause i forgot the pass :/). You only truly start feeling xp loss past level 80. The game has changed a lot since closed beta, maybe it will be more to ...

Re: Path of exile
I don't understand why this thread had to turn into a shitstorm. Forb some of your statements are hyperboles. I never met a boss that counters my entire build. What does that even mean? the only thing coming close to it is curse immune against a curse heavy char but even than it does not mean he is i...

Re: Path of exile
By the way, no matter how many times you die you can never go back a level.
A level 60 character will never be level 59 again.
The xp loss is limited to your current level.

Re: Path of exile
I found the caves in act 1 to be great looking, but yeah, The game would have benefited from a more impressive, hard hitting beginning. do you have a few shots? because I am curious if it is realistic or over subdued. So far my impression is that everything is desaturated. http://www.youtube.com/wat...

Re: Path of exile
It doesnt matter. The thing is that if you fight in areas where you keep dying it means you dont have the gear/build to do them properly. This means you dont actually want to level.. If you out-level an area you get less drops cause there is a penalty for loot in instances that are a lot above or be...

Re: Path of exile
Another thing most people might not know is that when you finish the campaign on the hardest difficulty you can start doing "maps". monsters can drop maps, which are themselves items. They, like any other item, can be of common, magical, rare or legendary rarity. There are many themes like...

Re: Total Annihilation Zero
I feel like not having something similar is like going back to the stone age of the RTS genre.
It's a sad fact that unit control has advanced little in the past 10 years in mainstream games.

Re: Total Annihilation Zero
No. In Spring most or all games use a script called custom formations. Here is a video showing some of it's capabilities. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRNxdbEx6v8 The bare minimum needs to allow a player to take X units and give them a movement order that lines them up towards a specified directio...

Re: Total Annihilation Zero
What about unit control?
I cant imagine playing with and microing TA units without something like custom formations or at least a line move command.

Re: Total Annihilation Zero
This seems like something i could get into. I am very tired of the overbearing approach to the connection between lua scripts keyshortcuts and gameplay in the TA clones running on spring. I would happily play a carefully designed TA like game that does not require me to download and sort through scr...

Re: Path of exile
Another fun point about POE is that except the already substantial content the game has, the model is a free to play one and they are promising to release frequent updates with new areas, skills and equipment.
P.S
The weapon and armor crafting system is unlike any other and is extremely in depth.
