The main problem with the rank system is that it doesn├óÔé¼Ôäót take into account the time spent playing other RTS games. Lets face it if you good at one RTS after a few game in another one you are probably reasonability good at it to├óÔé¼┬ª 100 hours is more then enough to become a pro├óÔé¼┬ª

Since, UV and normal mapping are already in, I think that the next most important things are, support for triangular faces (if it isn├óÔé¼Ôäót already in), and a few alpha channels.

30 can be killed easily, its 100 + that├óÔé¼Ôäós a pain. Build a lot of flak both fixed and mobile 15 or so should do.

The game should end when your last builder/factory is killed, not necessarily when your com dies. Otherwise a lame noob can still have a chance at winning.

Why not just use the NovodeX Physics SDK??? It├óÔé¼Ôäós from the makers of that PPU and it has multiprocessor support. It appears to be free and a lot of big games like unreal 3 are using it and it will support the Ageia PPU.

You guys didn├óÔé¼Ôäót really think that TA:S would work well, if at all with all the third party units available did you? lol I could have told you month ago that that was highly unlikely. I highly suspect that parts of many scripts will have to be rewritten. :roll:

It├óÔé¼Ôäós kind of cool, but right now I don├óÔé¼Ôäót think first person is implemented that great. The models look terrible in first person, and I don├óÔé¼Ôäót think you can aim like in a FPS, rather you can toggle between targets at least that├óÔé¼Ôäós how it seems to me.
