Re: SpringLobby hard to use??
It would be nice to be able to change the font colour for unselected tabs. Grey on nearly grey is pretty hard to read. I do quite like that I can sort the list by number of players ignoring the number of specs, due to the separate columns for spectators players and max players. That's something we c...

Re: Random WIP
I like the shape of it from above, and curved shapes in general suit the style of arm that Saktoth and others have been talking about.
(High tech, light, curvy)
Although i would make the wings a bit flatter from looking at the side view.

Re: A Gaming Site incl Spring Support [Coders/Gfx wanted]
That sounds quite similar in method to the map and mod downloader used for Complete Annihilation.

Re: A Gaming Site incl Spring Support [Coders/Gfx wanted]
This site could be used to connect all of the other spring portal sites. I'd also suggest that each of the other spring portal sites link to each other if they don't already so we have a strong web ring of content providers supporting each other.
We should never be reliant on a single site again.

Re: No more renaming.
This name freeze feature seems to me like a waste of time. There are far more important things in the lobby client needs such as a tagging system for maps (so you can group them into categories and search via these) or incorporation of single player missions. Edit: An inbuilt tournament registration...

swarm behaviour
In case anyone is thinking of editing the waypointing or experimenting more with squad behaviour within the Spring engine: this might be a useful article.

You lot have to remember: they don't have good tutorials, they don't have a decent single player campaign to practice on. You can't just scream 'don't suck' or even 'ffs attack - just with anything' at them and expect good results. They need to know how to prepare an attack, and before that how to p...

I've got a patch to finish for the transports 'flood load' functionality - I'll try and get that submitted for Friday night. There are a fair few other things I need to change in transports - mostly related to the transports flight code - see http://spring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=12757 for...

The units are unloaded with a set space between each of them + a space dependent on the size of the unit, so larger and smaller units mixed together don't end up clumped together. I could create a tag to allow you to set that fixed space between drop points if you like. Currently, i'm working out ho...

Here are the details of what it currently does, so someone can add it to the wiki: Tags: transportUnloadMethod = <integer>; 0 - land unload, 1 - flyover drop, 2 - land flood fallSpeed = <float> unitFallSpeed = <float> These dictate the speed of units being dropped from the transport. fallSpeed is us...
