There isnt anything better in terms of grand strategy out there with real time battles and thats the only reason why they can pull it off, and the fact they also dont improve their game its a testement to the lack of competition. I wasn't aware there was much of a choice? How practical is it to build a game engine in languages other than C++?I will say that I believe there was no consensus on the language to use
