Re: BA Website
Awesome website! Just some feedback: On the news page, text color after fade to white background is hard to read, change text color as well in the same transition (And actually on most pages) Downloads page is good and comprehensive, though a single installer type thing would be welcome (Anybody sti...

Re: Balanced Annihilation Website
Hi abq911, In fact I had already talked to Beherith that I was working on the new BA website (I'm webdesigner  ). It will be released as soon as the new name will be decided (so the domain can be fixed). Hi abq! The site looks nice, but I wish you had expressed your intent earlier, as I alrea...

Balanced Annihilation Website
About a week ago, I posted some suggestions as to how the Spring Engine can become more independent of the game projects, and the most urgent message I got from the feedback was moving all the BA content out of the wiki and onto its own website. Disclaimer: I just created the website, its still VERY...

Re: Distancing Spring Engine from Games
1. It's not the job of spring engine to market spring games. This has already been discussed a dozen times on forum and all the little frogs agreed on this. Spring games have their own marketing and websites(except for Bastard Annihilation which has nothing because it aspires to nothingness). I'm n...

Re: Distancing Spring Engine from Games
Hehe I see nobody read it. Here's rewrite. Most of the above was details on the actual implementation. For the benefit of the end user, we should try to distinguish the games from the engine itself as much as possible. To do this: Split the website (springrts.com) into a user portal which pretty muc...

Re: Distancing Spring Engine from Games
Already been done. You even mention ZK already has this feature. The problem isn't "coming together and agreeing" ... the problem is "someone make an installer for **** (BA)" but being an open source project nobody is obligated to heed your demands which means its left to you :)...

Distancing Spring Engine from Games
For the benefit of the end user, we should try to distinguish the games from the engine itself as much as possible. To do this: Split the website (springrts.com) into a user portal which pretty much only showcases the games but is a great place for a new user to get started (eg. http://us.battle.net...

Re: strange rendering on intel HD graphics under linux (85.0)
It seems like we both have approximately the same problems with Intel HD Graphics. What processor do you have? I have a i3-2105, and the white textures is fixed by installing driconf as instructed in the FAQ, but I also have the floating buildings bugs and a lot of the other rendering bugs you had. ...

Various Odd Graphical Glitches on Intel Linux Drivers
I've been meaning to file a comprehensive bug report, but haven't gotten around to it until now. So first, here's system specs: Intel i3-2105 with HD Graphics 3000 4GB DDR3 RAM ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 motherboard NO graphics card (important to know) These bugs are not reproducible in Windows 7 with...
