I'd propose to do it right and use lua instead of cob. We have enough time till bob has finished them all.

After reading some more wiki stuff and looking into xta, i finally got ceg-effects to work with the new punisher model:

Looks like i have to replace the fbi-file by lua too. I've done that, but ingame the unit int found anymore, do i have to do something to tell spring to recognize lua instead of fbi now?

its easier than i thought. one thing i dont get to work is the flare/fire effect when a unit shoots. should be something like that:
EmitSfx(flare2, EFFECT)

But i dont know how to call this effect exactly in lua...

i think its something with dds compression, it looks really bad compared to the original jpg you provided:

keep in mind that the original texture looks better than this one where i quickly replaced the colors with alpha channel

another solution would be to remove the colors and keep the models more or less grey and add color just by teamcolors:

How did you think about the teamcolor? At the moment it has none, the red is just texture 1.

Great, thank you! I think there is something bugged with audio-files. If i load a saved mission in the editor and try to test the mission, an error message appears "Der Obektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt". If i reenter the paths for the wav files i can test the miss...
