Re: TRIAD
Do you guys have anything in game yet? We did, but that was mostly for testing, and the models were crap, the uv mapping was worse. None of the units were balanced. We are just about to uv map our technologist structures ( http://triad.netne.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=17 ) and get some of ...

Re: TRIAD
hmmm the whole godliness is kind of troublesome if not problematic. After all you'd think with a new religious doctrine and godly intervention that a horrifically corrupt nonchristian and evil organisation like the Vatican might be struck down by Gods fury in favour of a more forgiving and compassi...

Re: Tech Requirements
Would there be a way to modify the advanced tech tree so it works like normal until you get a choice to build two units, after building one you unlock the following tech, but you lock out building the other one and all the following tech?

This looks neat! Best of luck! ...I notice you're using a .TK domain. If you want, I could give you a domain at triad.uest.in or triad.centigonal.com, if you want a more classy TLD. Why not? Point it to http://www.triad.netne.net if you can be bothered. Done. It'll take a little while before...

Even though they're simple, the automap badly. I find it's better to just spend that extra time on most models.Karl wrote:most of your model looks quite simple
you can use auto-uvmapping to reduce time at uv-mapping it

Re: TRIAD
And yes, I'm working on a way to lower the polygons, the cathedral (http://www.triad.netne.net/modules/gallery/albums/Models/img/110213102012_calebs_cathedral__ready_to_uv_map.jpg) has about 3000, which is pushing it, even though it will be stationary. Does anyone know what the practical limit is in...

Re: Linked Units
Would I be right in saying you want to be able to build one structure which can then deploy a fixed number of sub structures around it? Like Nod towers in c&c3? This is pretty simple to do with minimal gadget work. Your hub structure can have the node structures in it's buildlist and a certain ...
