Re: Boost Rushing
Sorry if the idea has already been said, but I've read the topic and didn't see it. About boost rushing, why not make boost decrease slowly when your commander move? So you still have 90% of your boost if don't move to much and if you chose to run across the map, only 10-20% of your boost will be re...

Re: GUI plan and tasks
It seems that using buildbar as main place to build units is not ideal. Problem is it appears in the middle of screen (can be fixed by moving it around) and that it shows units in one long line.. We can either try to improve it, or use other/default buildmenu for factory units. Also there is annoyi...

Re: New Lobby released: QTLobby
Using qt is a really good idea ! ( I love qt )
Good luck, you still have a lot stuff to do to have a feature parity with springlobby/TASClient
Have you used qt creator?
I'm a bit rusted programming wise, but perhaps I could help cause I'm on holliday and a bit bored :)

Re: Sovereignty of Units, or when Dgunning allies is acceptable.
If you think you're high and mighty enough to decide when it's okay to attack/commnap/capture your allies, then you've set a precedent that it's okay for anyone to decide to do the same, even to you. Even if you're a pro and they are not. Who are you to say that the porcer in the back was wrong to ...

Have you tested it or it's just a though? Because there is no reason that the synced random number generator behave like thatKDR_11k wrote:If I use the synced random number generator it will produce the same results for every game, is there a way to prevent that?

Have you even try to to open sidedata.tdf before complaining ? Have you read the wiki ? Pehaps you should accept that you can't mod without making a little efforts... Knowing the basis of the programation would help too. edit: I've look at your problem. The two line you've got certainly give you the...

I think spring-lobby shouldn't mark the number of win/losses. I'm sure that without it it would increase the number of people playing.. and decrease the frustration of loosing. The ELO system is here to rank people, I really don't see why the number of win/loss is needed to be displayed. Is there an...

What about to give the ability to tech3 builder to upgrade a building ( in this case, the moho mine ). So, you have a new upgrade command, and when you click on the building, it will begin upgrading. If you take 2 constructor, it will be faster like originally..in fact, it would just be a shortcut t...
