Summary | 0005936: Desyncs at frame 300
Description | There have been a few recent reports of early desyncs. In the first report multiple games seem to desync. In the second report leaving and rejoining appears to fix the problem. 104.0.1-313-g3d4f772 maintenance Battle: http://zero-k.info/Battles/Detail/491737 https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/CrashReports/issues/3866 https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/CrashReports/issues/3867 104.0.1-311-g5adac5b maintenance Battle: http://zero-k.info/Battles/Detail/491578 https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/CrashReports/issues/3849 https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/CrashReports/issues/3850 https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/CrashReports/issues/3851 https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/CrashReports/issues/3852 https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/CrashReports/issues/3853 https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/CrashReports/issues/3854

First game features AI's and QTPFS. The second might be more interesting. |

Here is the same thing with 104.0.1-325-g9ad8116 maintenance: https://github.com/ZeroK-RTS/CrashReports/issues/3888 http://zero-k.info/Battles/Detail/492139 |
hokomoko (developer) 2018-03-24 10:29 |
They're using QTPFS |
Google_Frog (reporter) 2018-03-24 15:30 |
Oh. Time to nuke that modoption I guess. |
Kloot (developer) 2018-03-24 16:09 |
the "clear path cache" menu option in ZK should probably be extended to QTPFS. |
Kloot (developer) 2018-03-25 22:35 |
can't produce a desync locally with QTPFS enabled, so I assume 491737 and 492139 were cache invalidation issues. |
