|Summary||0004522: 97.0.1-338 Pathfinding: Units running at cliff.|
|Description||In the attached replay I spawn units on a plateau with a large ramp on one side. They are then told to move somewhere which will require them to move further from their goal to use the ramp. The cliffs around the plateau are fairly wide and the ramp is large.|
Units which are spawned far from the ramp do not find the ramp. Instead they run directly at their goal and bounce around on the cliff top for a while. Eventually they figure out that they need to use the ramp.
From the attached screenshot of the cliff it looks like the low resolution pathmap considers part of the cliff to be passable.
I deleted my path cache before trying this.
