Spring RTS Engine

i wanted to play evolution RTS but it keeps crashing when the game just loaded.
it says spring.exe has stopped working, but my driver is already updated

Spring is using your "Graphics Chipset" (aka "Intel(R) HD Graphics Family") instead of a proper GPU. Do you have an actual GPU in the machine or just the Intel stuff? might be related to http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=32023

so i have the intel(R) HD graphics family and a Radeon HD 6470M(i didnt even knew i had that one). That could be what you are saying, but how do i make it use that GPU?
