I can't help since I'm in exactly the same situation. I can only suggest to use Tattoo or Deep Paint 3D for some basic texturing.

Really nice models, the textures needs some enhancing on some places...

Of course the Xwing's S-foils lock into attack position!

Also, the Bwing's "wing" rotates around the cockpit during combat, and it will most often fly "upright", but land on it's side, as seen there.

ATAT has been more or less completed; but in terms of our balancing schemes, it doesn't fit into the scale of our next release, so we decided it's probably better not to throw it around and get people's hopes up.

Hopefully you'll be able to play with all of these new toys in the next month or so. Far sooner if we get a texturer, because that's what is holding everything up, basically.

THe X-wings open? Buhya! Can you tell them to close so they can go faster. I think that was why they moved between the two position.

No, they open when in flight, and close when landing/taking off.

Really? I thought one was combat mode and the other was for transport mode. Both idea's are cool, anyway.

Actually I made them travel in folded up mode, they only go into attack position in combat. No speed boost, though, since the CURRENT_SPEED crap doesn't work.

You're right, if I recall my good old Star Wars addiction days.

On another note, I want E-Wings!

Ha, I'm right! I really hope you can figure out how to get them to change speeds, cause that would be just plain cool.

Sorry, I assumed it wasn't there considering that the last game I asked for an E-wing in was run by "hardcore" Star Wars geeks who had never even heard of it!

The E-Wing is already in SWTA, we've just made it a purdy new model ;)

Bug the spring devs to fix the get/set CURRENT_SPEED script stuff and we will. I know other mods would like that feature to work too.
