So who is up to making some?

Also for the remake of Acid maps gasbags won't work because spring can't handle scripted features.... So if any1 have fresh ideas for those?

Ehhhhmmm.... what about the texture inversion thing? I might be willing to model them but I don't know how much use they'd actually be at this point, from what I've heard.

I believe the texture inversion thing has already been fixed for the next version of Spring.

Personally, I'd love to see the Crystal World Spires, I loved those things.

It's going to be REALLY hard to make good looking trees without an alpha map... Possible maby but definately not easy.

We really need transparencies for trees.

I'll add it to my to do list. Which is getting to long (and filled with non-spring stuff as well). And I actually need to succeed in putting something with texture in spring. I can't even get my box to show up.

I said acid worlds. Gasbags aern't doable, so I suggest corroded Stalgamites. because of the Acid (surprise sursprise).

And yup.

Making trees like that with no transparency would take an act of god.

they would eat polies like no tommorrow. Loby SJ to use the blue channel for transparencies... black=solid, blue =transparency. So you can paint levels of brightness onto the blue channel and effectively get transparencie.

Get this done and I will gladly modely any tree you want.

From what I've seen current default trees appear to have transparency...

*sighs* that does not mean that we have the usage of transparencies for models.

No but it means its already in there and shouldn't take much to implement.
