Actually that's the way it's supposed to look... you can see the "original" texture by turning off the alpha layer... but your image will be solid black when you save it... unless smoth tells you otherwise of course
255-1 alpha are team color you just don't notice 99%alpha because team color is an overlay. Full white in your alpha channel means (255) and absolute black is (0). Any image that is saved and looks solid is team colored in a way which will be apparent.
So the mc2 stuff should be updated / fixed for spring. But IIRC the license did not allow modification, or? If it allows modification I would include the fixed features with SME. Could anyone check the licensing stuff, and supply me with a fixed version? :)
