Spring in boot camp

I'm playing Spring on my macbook pro via bootcamp (I tried v2.0 and v2.1) in windows 7 (15", 2.4ghz, 4gb ram, 9600gt w/256mb graphics mem) and there are horizontal columns flashing everywhere and they interfere with playing the game. I know that this is a glitch or bug because whenever I played spring on my old notebook pc on vista (which had a much slower ati card), the graphics were fine. My framerate is usually over 100fps, so I know that's not the problem. Is the problem something that is fixed with bootcamp v3.0? btw, I played Medieval 2 Total War on my macbook too, and there were no graphics problems of any sort.
