There is hope yet!
Also, there's a way to get hold of the ATAT quicker - that's to help us out somehow. Even if you don't have any modding skills, we need people to do voice acting for us... (see our forums)

Do you need sound effects too?

Yeah, we do. Saying that though, sound effects are pretty important and we will be reasonably picky with them.
Re: The Star Wars: Imperial Winter Eyecandy Thread [56k warning]
Maybe I can make some, not sure.
Tell me what kind of things you need and I'll give it a try in a few days (when I fixed my computer, atm sound doesn't work).

Just try some generic ones; engine sounds, laser firing sounds, laser impact sounds, other weapon impact sounds, etc.

Also, while talking those photos I took some fun screenies of a battle in the mist, which you can see here: http://forums.imperialwinter.com/index.php?topic=246.0Here's the Rebel Advanced Airbase
This is the crown of the Rebel build tree; where the Rebels access their powerful advanced starfighters and bombers. These units are the Rebels' greatest strength, and being able to acquire such firepower and air superiority can turn the tide in their favour.
The factory is fitted with a repair pad to provide automatic repairs for any nearby starfighters that are damaged.
I'm pretty pleased with how this texture came out (I actually finished it months ago, but had been meaning to fix it up), as it was one of the rare ones that I've done from scratch without too much reliance on nicking greebles from older textures.
Model: Cremuss/Zsinj (I basically just added the tower)
Wrap: Gnomre
Texture: Zsinj

Those screens clearly prove that the empire runs their walkers with oil. What else should produce all that smoke polluting the air?

Now that's what I call an explosion then - did a star destroyer just smash into the ground?...

Actually the explosion was quite small, but if you navigate the camera inside it blocks out much of the texture information and just gives you silhouettes, which look great

Re: The Star Wars: Imperial Winter Eyecandy Thread [56k warning]
What actually happened was that I turned everything up to max, and for some reason when you slide the shadows up to the highest level (8096 or whatever it is), they don't show for me. You have to pick an intermediate quality level for them to show.
