Made a few IW banners. I'm not expecting all of them to be used, just pick any you like. Let me know if you want any format changes.

I didn't really want to bother him, but it'd be nice to see them up.

I think we're waiting for fnordia to finish some sort of banner image hotlinking code... so like, the banner image loads at random, and it also acts at a hotlink to whatever game's website the image is of.

I'm not sure though.

you don't need a banner hotlink system to move this fuckin thread to the banner section ... you guyz can't do anything if fnordia is not here ? he didn't use them because they had urls at the bottom that's all

Make a new thread without the ones with the URL and with the ones inside the zip. I don't think the banner system can extract from the zip on the fly.

Honestly, I kind of want to keep the URL, until a more robust system is created to handle mod advertisement automatically, it's all the mods have in terms of direct frontpage exposure.

What I really want is a hyperlink and mouseover notification. So if you hover the mouse over the banner image it says something along the lines of "Get Star Wars: Imperial Winter for spring now!" and then if you click the link it links you directly to the SW:IW website. That needs web dev work that I don't know how to do, so for now we're doing it this way, with the small URL being allowed, and preferred, if you want to advertise your mod.
