IMO it would be a good idea to just close all never reproduced crash bugs from 0.75b2 and before in mantis, because there's no chance anyone will ever bother to reproduce them, and the stacktraces from the earlier versions are near useless now because of all the code changes. And they just clutter up the list of bugs that are still valid.
Agreed or not?
Of course we'd put a comment in the closing message like "please reopen if this still happens in 0.76b1".

Who is going to do this?
Re: mantis: purge crash bugs from 0.75b2 and before?
I closed a bunch of very old crash bugs (ie. 0.74b2, 0.74b3).
I suggest anyone with some spare time and sufficient rights can just browse a bit through mantis and close old bugs / try to confirm others, ie. do bug triaging.
Together with some fixes and some closed bugs for other reasons we're now down to only 3 pages again (excluding features and anything already closed/resolved)
Also do mark bugs as needing feedback if you don't understand the report, and close bugs that were marked as feedback half a year ago but didn't get any reaction yet. That way we may actually be able to get through the bug list some time
