"Serves me right for misleading people"?
o_O
I'm... not going to be baited by that one. But my attack gnome might!
Thank you for the correct link style. Man, that's so annoying. So the old forum software could deal with a break in the middle of a link, and the new one can't? Way to move forward!
We have made up a number of units that we needed for gameplay reasons, but don't exist per se in the Star Wars universe. We thought it'd be fun to let people put their own name ideas down for units.

Essentially very similar to the Rebel Logistical Cache, this structure is where the invading Imperial army stores the firearms, munitions, tibanna and other weapons that it needs for it's war effort.
It is essential that an Imperial general provide these caches in strategic locations so that his troops have access to the weaponry that they need. Doing so provides extra requisition points (the metal resource). The fragile tibanna cooling and other storage mechanisms draw large amounts of energy. If you cannot afford the energy to run the cache, you receive no extra requisition points (you will still earn basic territorial control rewards). This also makes this position very fragile, and very volatile when destabilised by enemy fire.
If this structure is destroyed, you do not lose control of the territory, you merely receive reduced territorial rewards. The enemy must send in groundforces to capture the territory to remove it from your control.
In summary: - This is the first in the "economic" upgrade path for holobeacons. - It therefore can only be built at strategic locations (metal patches) - It offers more requisition point rewards (that is, the metal replacement resource) then the military option. - It requires large amounts of energy to run in order to get the higher metal reward. Therefore, this makes it's role very similar to that of a metal maker. - When destroyed it reverts to the original holobeacon under the ownership of the same player (not the enemy that destroyed it).

Seeing as our website has been down and cuppy is absent, I thought I'd continue the art previews here.
First up, we have the Rebel Aircraft lab, which is the first tier factory for rebel craft.
Model by Gnome, Texture by me.
Second, the Imperial Theta-Class Dropship. This unit is massive, and without giving too much away, you will see it quite often, but are unlikely to get to control it (atleast in this pack)
Model by Guessmyname, texture by me.
Third, the imperial ion cannon, which fires rounds that freeze electronic-based items for a short period of time (vehicles and droids, but not biological units).
This was simply a texture touch up by me of an original texture and model by Argh. Not that there was anything wrong with Argh's version, it was just done early on, and I needed to bring it more into line with the style I've been using for the rest of the Imperials.
Finally, what I just finished a few minutes ago, the Imperial Freighter
Model by me, Texture by me.
Similarly to the Theta-Class, you will see this unit quite often, but are unlikely to ever be able to specifically control it.
Comments and criticism welcome :)
... And yes, I totally dig Smoth's map, it has great lighting and a gorgeous skybox.
Gnome, my internet is giving me grief, can you put a few of your favourite images up on the moddb page? Cheers.
