So I'm back doing more models for a bit. Just a few more before I have the cybernauts finished (well, I'll have enough units to make the side feature complete, there will prob be a few more units down the line.)

I have a question though. Does anyone know what angles I would have to rotate the to rubix cube by to achive the current rotation from a nuetral flat position (like this to this , which I would need to do to be able to spin things? Only I just fudged it into that position after not being able to work it out...

You are not.

Agorm create an empty root then the cube. You will then be able to rotate the cube the you spin the parent to spin the cube.

Do what smoth said first but, then rotate the cube 45x 35.26z

(I can show my work if you'd like... but the short answer is I knew the first one was 45 and then I searched wolframalpha.com for "angles of a right triangle with edge lengths 1 and root(2)")

Hi Smoth, yep thats what I planed... was about to clarify what i wanted, but sinbad has the answer :-) I guess the first was 45 but didn't know the question to ask google for the other. Now the the cybernauts can solve there rubix cube to unlock new tech... (wont actully texture it as a rubix... that would look crap.)

Pretty cool, agorm. Render time AO always fools me though, it can be deceiving when put ingame.

Rubix is for the robot side... hence the x (more sci-fi...)

Or I can't spell, take your pick. :P
