please use http://repos.springrts.com/repos.gz as master url for rapid!

(old one was http://repos.caspring.org/repos.gz)

as caspring.org is really deprecated...

Does repos.caspring.org/repos.gz still work?

In other words, how much should I hurry with changing this in the python rapid client?

yep, old url does still work. i don't know who owns/maintains caspring.org, but i guess it will shutdown at some time.

so... no hurry. but imo after that change caspring.org could be switched off / redirect to zero-k.info or springrts.com.

@det:

any plans about that? afaik you are owner of caspring.org.

I dont see a reason to shut down caspring there is lots of useful stuff in wiki im using it myself from time to time..

Repos master on caspring is maintained by det but i have access too.
Afaik its used by all ZKL clients still.

its nice to have, but it takes time to keep that running. most of that stuff is outdated. many links on the page links to stuff that is deprecated too... but i don't care about that.

imo it would be best, to migrate the important stuff to the springrts.com or zero-k wiki... its not useful to have multiple outdated pages.

i care about to have something like a corporate identitiy, so i prefer http://somesubdomain.springrts.com/

http://packages.caspring.org/ is currently down (i guess its just temporary)

Anything against removing http://packages.caspring.org/versions.gz from repos.gz?

Note: latest ca seems to not work, because there is no start-unit spawned. I guess the lua gadget to spawn the start-unit is missing...

edit: i've removed it

http://springdefense.caspring.org is down since a few days. will it come back at some stage or can it be removed?
(the same for http://this.caspring.org)

most download programs now takes much longer as they wait for a timeout (or at worst case crash....).

edit: i've removed http://this.caspring.org & http://springdefense.caspring.org from repos.gz as the server is way to long down :-/
