Several different upgrades:
- Light weapons upgrades (2nd laser, pulverizer missile, torpedo) with costs being around 200-300 m each.
- radar/sonar range upgrades 500 m
- health upgrades of 1k hitpoints for 600-700 m
- upgrade that detects cloaked units within 3 times com explosion radius for 600-700 m
- add honk button for 10 metal
- build basic units for the cost of 700-800 m

add a balance ball mode where com balances on top of red and white beach ball if he fall down he die, add booster rockets for orbital view u can see all battlefield then land in their base dgun etc also more lasers, paralyzers, jump jets, jet engine mounted on neck for faster turning of head so he is more alert responsive to enemy slime shooter that make commander slip like on banana peels also mario kart mode minigame so u can drive around throwing banana and shell at noob the lol at them (hahahahh0) and then add binoculars so u can see farther outfits/costumes to dress the commander up as different things like skins, camo, also hats, hair, genitals maybe for pornograf and also more shields, bouncing com mode where commander bouncing around like my youtube video so u can see farther when he is higher up, then u have harder more challenge for micro sence he cant change direction during jump. Ou please add wings like buzz lightyears so i can travel between frontline and base more quicky

I think the second upgrade needs to require less metal, and possibly more energy or exp.
To make IK stop crying because he keeps getting pwnd by one unit.
Make commanders have two seperate forms of upgrading, one based on economy and the other based on exp.
The economy/support commanders could receive more hp, build power, build range ect. Things that deal with base expanding while requiring forward units.
Where as the other commander upgrade (exp) would focus on attacking and pushing with your commander, e.g. attack range, more weapons, higher speed, repair rate and small amounts of health. (and possibly lower the build rate, and no recourse gains?).
Look at supcom commanders in blackops mod for reference if you have the game, well worth checking out as it works really well to choose whether to commander push or not.
Of course you can not change tree half way through so deciding on what you'd like to before game would be vital.

yes but in xta the commander are not like heavy gunner instead split between piss laser and unbeatable dgun for the lolz bur if you instead have shoulder mod with satelite radio like sirius fm but also with other type satelite, (lazer heavy gunner orbital strike) and deployable spacemans u can try for more balance to game similar to supcom but butter because smoth and argh can do the modeling with opengl normal map thinging from popsdemo ALSO try making the walk animation upgradable u can skip, hop, do flips in air and drop kick, also fire nukes from toes while in air with advanced upgrades similar to liberty prime from fallout 3.
