It's in a perfectly playable state again, thanks to TFC, abma and Nemo.

Ok, I'm sorry for doing so every few weeks, it's just that this would be a really epic game and what I've seen in the videos looks playable, so this is what I am trying to find out, if:
a) It will ever be made.
b) It is currently still being made.
c) It is dead.

Well, we are moving on, and as long as it doesent make any sound or strange smells, i dont mind having a dried out corpse somewhere in the vehicle.

Just face it, the final phase (80% of the game done) kills the most.

RIP IW

For once serious: Could have been a good game.

sorry followed by an explanation isn't sorry. You are sorry or you are not.

People have made posts saying works has been done.
that is your answer. Unless you are going to help, stop bitching and pressuring people.

What does this mean? Does it mean the project has been resumed?

you never intended on helping anyway, so why does it matter.

Well its silently rotting away, fine with me. Can we remove the remains from the frontpage, replace it with zero-k, bar, smoth-stuff, anything of the recent products which are A) looking better and b) are more playable by now. I know pissing of the starwars fanbase by telling hard truths is always bad. but this here is dead, and getting it out of the cryogenics chamber for a non-error-spam- checkup before sending it back to the freazure, till everyone is emotionally disconnected from this game, is not life.

TBH, I would love to work on this. The original was my favorite mod for TA and I really enjoyed watching droidekas rolling around the battlefield. What kind of hoops would one have to jump through to even begin helping, and if one did; would it even be releasable/shareable to friends? Is there a repository I can look at or access?

I do agree if the original creators aren't working on it and the license doesn't allow anyone else to take up the mantle, it should be archived and hidden from the public eye.

Bug Gnome to give you the svn, or a few other people have it (including me at some point but i lost the details)

Does not matter if he fixed anything. Warlord would just keep moving the goal post with whatever b.s. feature creep he wants to add.

*edit fixed for type-os*

and then smoth and Flozi would bitch and moan, and then silently step up to fix it, while Warlord dissappears for another year.

Sorry smoth, i dont see the point having this on the frontpage. I want your screens there. I want BAR Screens there - Cursed, Zero-K, Evo- anyhting that has a higher propability of beeing playable sooner (or allready).

It pisses me off to that the project is dead. A while back several people offered to patch it up and get it out the door and then creep started happening instead of getting shit working.

A project that I once saw as awesome looking now shows it's age and will continue to age as we wait around for an OK from a lead who is at best MIA.

I have svn acess.. I don't want to touch it. my time is better spent on my project because it will see light of day. I understand IRL priorities etc... but warlord should have just handed over leadership to gnomre or something.
