/me shits bricks.
Grass is a little... green. Neon. Bright.
Could also use a bit more detailing on the ground; walkways, "driveways", paths to people's front doors and around buildings, and random carnage created by unsympathetic military types driving over people's lawns and gardens.

Pure victory! Seems like some pro magic done here with specular and splatting maps...
A bit of fairyland taste on the scene, but I don't care because it looks so pure...

It finally makes me glad S44 units are so small for the first time.

That looks amazing but the edges still kill it for me. What sort of control do we have over camera movement/edge rendering atm?

if we could only get units to not attempt to fire through features we would be onto a mega winner
how is the pathing around that lot ?

IK: that's a really easy change to make. mostly right now they do so in order to allow MGs and such to suppress folks behind features and allow troops to fire effectively back from behind them with a bit of help. mostly it's a holding pattern until we have garrisonable buildings
Re: How s44 should look. (slow internet warning!)
+1 on the shooting through buildings ruining the fun in-game with these features. i did not get why you want to wait with the change until you have garisonable buildings. it would be nice if you could walk away from an MG when covered by a building, or if you could set your men on hold fire there, and wait till the tank or sniper arrives to take out the MG. if not on hold fire, would they not auto move out of cover to fire if enemies are nearby?

yeah that would be cool, also small walls were the soldiers take cover behind and btw awesome picshoijui wrote:+1 on the shooting through buildings ruining the fun in-game with these features. i did not get why you want to wait with the change until you have garisonable buildings. it would be nice if you could walk away from an MG when covered by a building, or if you could set your men on hold fire there, and wait till the tank or sniper arrives to take out the MG. if not on hold fire, would they not auto move out of cover to fire if enemies are nearby?

I DON'T CARE about the fact that the Spring engine's network code is very unsuitable for FPS style of gaming....
I WANT TO RUN FPS AMOK ON THIS MAP!
Just outright unfcuknigbeleivabel! Great job folks!
I'm mighty impressed. Sure, I'm quite easily impressed, but still.
Keep up the good work!
