BA 8.06 Released!

Changelog for 8.01 -> 8.06

> Fixed mapmark names after substitution
> Added "Alternate Chat Keys" widget, with old style keys, default off
> Added "o" "," and "." keys to rotate buildings (hopefully this covers all keyboards)
> Hotfixes for f6 and backspace keys
> Removed lightning sound
> Hotfix that should prevent most of getting stuck in draw mode
> Comblast/Dgun range always shows for selected coms and enemy coms
> Fixed Ignore List
> Fixed Set Target errors and having ally unit targets, fixed cancel target command
> Removed no longer used DGun Limit modes
> Fixed UW Gantry not being buildable in deep water
> Fixed Sokolov and Lun missing sonar
> Cleaned up modoptions
> Improved performance of Passive Builders gadget
> Passive builders don't show as resource pull unless they are using resources

Changelog for T2 Sea/Seaplane Revamp:

-Seaplane Platform is slightly cheaper
-Seaplane Con is more expensive, has more health and workertime, doesn't build U/W Fusion or Moho Metal Maker
-Seaplane Torpedo Bombers are now Torpedo Gunships
-Seaplane Bombers/Gunships are more like (normal air) T2 Bombers/Gunships
-Core Seaplane Bomber drops "dambuster" bouncing bombs, Arm drops "normal" firebombs
-Arm Seaplane Gunship fires lightning, Core fires plasma
-T2 Torp Launchers removed -> converted to Anti-Air Torpedos, buildable only by T1 Sea Cons
-T2 Sea Labs are slighty cheaper, T2 Sub Cons are more expensive
-T2 Missile Ships are very long range/very slow reload (Core paralyses, Arm damages)
-T2 Sea Fusion and Metal Makers are more expensive
-T2 Sea Metal Makers float, have same conversion ratio as land T2 MMs
-Added a T3 hovercraft, "Sokolov" for Core, "Lun" for Arm
-Added T2/3 amphibious gantry, buildable by Sub Con, builds T2/3 amphibious units
-Fixed Depthcharges and Torpedo (from Bombers/Gunships) not making a splash
-Fixed UW fusions displaying health to enemies

Any insight into the reasoning behind the sea unit/gameplay changes? They seem to be pretty random.

EDIT: Actually, most of the gameplay changes seem somewhat random. In terms of the big picture, what's the direction being taken?

In general the changes to ships/seaplanes (in 8.00->8.01) were aimed to increase the variety of interaction between T2/3 land and T2/3 sea, and to give seaplanes a bit more character.
I love "release often"! Good job with fixes!
Thank you ;) And yes, I think the model we've settled into of waiting a while, then making a release with much new stuff, followed closely by a succession of bugfix releases, works well for us. And I am always very grateful to the players who help us test stuff in the run up to a release.

I am interested to know if anyone is still able to get stuck in draw mode with 8.06 (which contains a hotfix for the engine bug). If anyone is still able too, please make a separate forum post and I'll ask you for some info, there are many different keyboards...
