Hmm, so from now on it is no longer possible to right mouse drag (a circle) an attack order on an enemy unit? Or how should I give those orders now?

Also, fight command for a group doesn't behave the same as rest of orders does; it doesn't draw a customformations line but a straight arrow.

I wondered too, but it's in the Changelog (http://imolarpg.dyndns.org/trac/balates ... ngelog.txt)

Code: Select all

13	7.94 -> 7.95
14	07/04/2014
..
19	- Cleaned up mouse drag commands in Custom Formations:
20 -> To give a line command: select command, right click & drag
21 -> To give a area command: select command, left click and drag
22 -> To area attack (bombers etc only): press a, press alt, left click and drag

Since a while (2 years) I notice all changes are meant to make unit difference more flat.

Just to quote the most recents:

For example reducing level dps rather than decreasing it speed so it looks more like a t1 tank, you could have make him slower, or whatever.

Decreasing efficiency of special weapon who are some of the very last one that can be used to kill/stop a lot of metal for an equivalent lower cost (tacktical, emp launcher)

After that, do not complain the game is becoming more laggy since it is not possible to counter X metal with 0.25X like it used to be the case for about any unit.
Do not be surprised everyone noticed that spending 2 min making advanced fusion and 1 min producing T2defence is more efficient than spending 2 min producing unit and 1 min ending them to enemy base.

Making flat balance make the game boring since you need to eco and porc to win.
I guess the plus side is that it make new players stay since they notice spamming any shit make them win.
I guess that make sense to get a bigger player base.
So it looks obvious to me that it is what you are trying to do and you should clarify it so players make suggestions going toward that direction.
