My crappy ISP holding out, I'm down.

Can we have a list of rules? Flying Commander hilarity is allowed I presume?

There'll be an, erm, interesting set of rules regarding maps, and possibly some special rounds. But, for th most part, unit choice won't be limited. :P

Maybe make it like, a week from now, that way you can get plenty of advertising in.

Maybe post in game lobby forum (like every other spring tourney does) and use #tournament (flop is way too nazi to let you use #tourney, altho the channel is dead these days anyway).

Why is it in the middle of the week? There's basically no chance I'll be around.

I assume others should have a chance, too.

Later that same day you already started the tourney? I had no idea anything was even going on, I would have liked to join as well. Although, today imo is a terrible day for a tourney (I've got quite a bit of homework), because as stated before, it's right in the middle of the week.

I logged on having (returned from the pub) at 2am, to find the tourney already undeway, without brackets posted, or the player's who registered having been informed! :)

I don't want to be overly negative, and I applaud the effort to get a tourney going. Maybe we should organize one for the weekend, with plenty of advance notice, and a pre-arranged start time?

Time zone issues, my inexperience as a tourney leader, the fact that today is a holiday only in the US, etc all contributed to the big monkey wrench in this tourney's works. In the end we all decided to just reschedule it and play chicken defence.

That said, mark either oct. 31 or nov. 1 on your calendars! I'm hoping we can organize a nice little Halloween event.

I wasn't aware that Oct. 13 was a holiday. Not even anything on Wikipedia mentioned it.

Oct. 31 will definitely not work well. I would hate to think that Spring would be the only form of enjoyment people have on Halloween. I'll probably be around on Nov. 1 -- thats a Sunday right? Perfect day for a tourney imo. GMT 6 pm sounds good? I don't care to wake up *too* early
