that would mean flash would never burn, and burn is one of the few things which is very effective vs flash's regen

This would neuter Logos best heavy vech factory defense against flash spams as well.

Repair to full health would work well for smaller units, but would be a nightmare for a damaged Sumo... but Sumos could wait out the fire.

Alternately (I have no idea if this one's possible), you could add "cure" as a command for all builders to remove status changes, and have "cure" be the default action to apply to status-changed-units, and include it in the patrol commands. So to put out a fire, you select "cure" on your nanos and drag a circle, or just put them on patrol (but they'd also do repairs and whatnot that way). Would also be nice to be able to reduce the length of a stun this way. In both cases, you'd want the nano-cost to be proportionate to the amount of fire or stun damage done.

Not sure why any of these fancy setups are needed. Units on fire and units stunned are just a consequence you have to deal with that takes them out of commission in a way.

What if fire damage worked like stun damage, once a unit hits 100% fire damage it catches fire and burns for however many seconds? If it's linked to hp in the same way then it would make sense in that a unit with low remaining health that catches fire is likely to die but a full health unit doesn't have so much to worry about if it can get away from the combat for a few seconds.
