why did you "hide" your post in here? ;)
If you used Spring for your PhD that would be interessting to read about.
well, if you are still around...

I have been looking at the Widget.lua and Gadget.lua to confirm call ins and action handlers for widgets and gadgets. In the attached PDF is the list of function definitions i found in the current guide compared to what i found in the widget and gadget files. also included are some additional comments in regards to the mechanics of certain call ins and return values and their effects (from my interpretation of the code). I hope it makes sense, and can be used to update the current guide.

Thanks for those updates. My guides badly need updating and since I've resumed work on my mod and 84.0 is about to be released the timing is pretty good.

The Spring Wiki is the best source of up-to-date info so I'll be retiring the reference sections of these guides and migrating tables like this to the wiki where they can be updated by the community to keep pace with engine changes. My guides will focus more on usage examples and indepth discussion of techniques and processes.

yes, please pushlish on the wiki instead.
Callins & funcitions already have pages that "only" need to be completed. For the handler stuff simply create a new page.
