if i see it right, we only have spring_engine on Ubuntu now.
https://launchpad.net/~spring/+archive/ppa/

I think it would be good if we suggest a packaging scheme, which is kept up to date with what is possible with our current source and build-system design.

what i think it should could look like by now:
spring-unitsync
spring-unitsync-dbg
spring-engine
spring-engine-dbg
spring-engine-multithreaded
spring-engine-multithreaded-dbg
spring-engine-headless
spring-engine-headless-dbg
spring-engine-dedicated
spring-engine-dedicated-dbg


for gentoo, the *-dbg packages could be omitted.

side-note: This scheme would still make sense with a launcher.
