ah why didnt you just say that to begin with? I thought you where saying you clicked load then if you immediatly clicked save on the same page it saved to the wrong place, i didnt know you had imported a tasklist from an old config and then clicked save.

The code over here checks out.

Please check fi you havent manually edited the mod\\config value to point to the OldXTA Config folder because if you copy a config to:

\AI\NTai\XTA_OLD\

and the mod\\config value says configs\XTA_BT2.tdf

then it will load from

\AI\NTai\XTA_OLD\ configs\XTA_BT2.tdf

That or configs hs the value XTA_OLD\configs\XTA_BT2.tdf

But you havent posted any of your config at all so I'm only guessing.

It seems by selecting a textfile via another openfile dialog in another folder changed the active working directory, which I did not expect at all, and I'm totally flummoxed and confused as to why they made it do that and howto undo it.

Fixed, expect a new version in the next 20 minutes.

I have a few changes to NTai too, a memory leak fixed, and I forgot to compile with exception handling in the previous version.

Nobody has announced themselves as making configs other than lindir and XTA. Everyone else has just reported bugs or asked questions.

And since I havent made any configs, and nobodies posted any, I'd say no.

- Fixes a bug with empty tags not having semicolons
- Fixes an error todo with assigning tasklists that resulted in lots of cloned entries and general borkedness.
- Added basic validation to the new tasklists entry textbox for illegal characters

Ok, am I correct in thinking that once I save a config I'm working on and close the toolkit, there's no way to reopen that same config? As far as I can tell, there are two .tdf's for the mod I'm working with. One is in AI/NTai, and one is in AI/NTai/configs. The toolkit can only load the one in AI/NTai, and it only saves to AI/NTai/configs.

This is what it's meant to do. It's working fine, just reopen the one in NTai.

Yes you can just reopen the config, you can open and edit and save as many times as you want.

The actual data is stored in the file in the configs folder, and yes thats what changes when you fiddle the dials and buttons in the GUI, but the file you actually open just references it and some other files.

Is there any good documentation/step-by-step tutorial to guide me on the keywords? I managed to get a workable config for commander shooter, but it seems more complicated for AA

Hey AF,

trying to get something to work and will report bugs on my way :P

- b_resurect (no space in front of the minus which leads to the minus getting into the config)

I will edit this post for small errors like this one..
But I have to say that I like the idea of your tool and configs.. I just hope that there will be a documentation.. :P
