It's finished. Well, not entirely finished, I still have ideas that can be added to a later version but finished enough for the first release.

EDIT: Had to update to 1.01 in the hope of fixing a crashbug for some people
EDIT2: Another version because I underestimated the traffic those Lua messages would generate, I've greatly reduced their number, with some luck it'll work in multiplayer now.

Code:
AIR RAID

Sounds are almost all from Evolution RTS, used under CC-BY-SA-NC 3.0

You are assigned to intercept enemy logstics movements in the target area. Destroy enemy trucks and materiel to gain points and go for the high score! Kill enemies in rapid succession to form a chain and receive multiple times the regular points!

Air Raid can be played singleplayer or cooperatively (put all players on one alliance), while the option to play against other players exists it probably isn't very fun yet.

Controls are:
Mouse: Roll and tilt control
Left Mouse button: Fire the main gun
Middle Mouse Button: Select a new target for the missiles
Right Mouse Button: Launch the selected missile (if a target is available)
Mousewheel: Cycle through the missiles
Q and W: Rudder control

Extra life (health) at 200, 500 and every 1000 points.

The F-81 Arrowhead
------------------

For this mission you will be assigned the F-81 Arrowhead fighter jet. Itpossesses a built-in ammunition teleporter that allows replenishing its munitions in mid-flight without any need to link up with a supply plane, all weapons and fuel will be "beamed" directly from the base. This allows the F-81 to remain in combat for as long as the pilot deems necessary without being restricted by the available payload.

Weapons:
30mm Gatling Gun - A simple gun that fires at a rate of 3600RPM and can strike a target at a range of up to 3500 meters. Sustained fire from the weapon can destroy any target in less than a second but the short range and lack of guidance limit it to a secondary role in most engagements.

Multirole Missile - These missiles are designed to work against both air and ground targets, they carry a significant yield that is effective even against heavy armor and will practically vaporize a plane but their agility is limited so a hit in aerial combat requires a good opportunity. The F-81 can carry up to four of them at once and hit targets up to 6000 meters away.

Air to Air Missile - Significantly more agile than Multirole Missiles but sacrificing yield to gain this advantage. AAMs can be launched 9 km away from the target and are much more likely to score a hit in air to air combat. The F-81 can hold two of these. AAMs are usable against ground targets as well but their low yield makes this not advisable against anything other than trucks.

Likely enemy vessels:
---------------------

Supply Trucks: Easy targets that can be destroyed with any weapon. Great for building your chain multiplier.
Flak Tanks: Hardened targets, two multirole missiles can crack them but they also unleash a barrage of bullets your way that you should avoid.
SAM Launchers: Fire missiles at you that deal quite some damage if you fail to dodge them.
Wasp Fighter: An old and weak plane, carries a limited number of moderately effective missiles and has to rely on its gun otherwise. The Wasp lacks maneuverability and is very common.
Hawk Fighter: A modern combat jet that launches dangerous missiles at you and is highly maneuverable. Try not to engage them if you aren't certain that you can get a hit in quickly.

The camera and physics for the plane seem to be completely done in Lua.

KDR, would you like any plane models? I could wing flaps to move and such as well.

Man, Spring flight sim has been one of those projectes on the back burner for me for the longest time, though i couldnt have done all the luas. Awesome to see.

If you want a plane, there is the core fighter in CA, ('fighter.s3o'). It is public domain and nice looking.

This won't be multiplayer player vs player right? Because AFAIK Regret's Mech Combat wansn't good for it because of high pings.
